The Eastern European Risk and Insurance Association  is pleased to announce changes to its governance structure for the 2026 term.

Following the decisions taken by the General Assembly during the Annual Meeting held on 27 September 2025 in Sarajevo, a new Board of Directors has been appointed in accordance with the newly adopted Election Act.

The Board for the 2026 term, which officially began on 1 January 2026, is composed as follows:

• President: Klime Poposki
• Vice-President: Piotr Manikowski
• Past President: Patricia Born

In addition, Łukasz Kuryłowicz was appointed as Executive Secretary / Treasurer of EERIA.

The term of the current Board will last one year, until 31 December 2026.

Furthermore, during a meeting held on 18 December 2025, EERIA formally established the Scientific Committee.
Aleksandra Hęćka-Sadowska was elected Chair of the Scientific Committee.

EERIA would like to thank all members of the previous Executive Committee for their dedication and service, and looks forward to a productive year ahead under the new leadership.
