2027

The turn of June and July 2027

Advance your strategic understanding of the insurance industry.

Engage with leading regulators, industry executives and academic experts in an intensive, high-level learning environment.

Insurance is changing — shaped by regulation, technological innovation, emerging risks and new business models. The EERIA Summer School provides a structured and practice-oriented understanding of these developments from both industry and supervisory perspectives.

Through expert-led sessions, real-world case studies and peer exchange, participants develop capabilities relevant to regulation, corporate governance, risk-based supervision, digital transformation and sustainability.

The EERIA Summer School is an intensive and interactive five-day programme designed for professionals who want to deepen their understanding of evolving insurance markets and business models. The programme explores key challenges through open discussion with guest lecturers from supervisory authorities, industry and academia. Participants gain practical insights, exchange perspectives with peers from different countries and markets, and return to their organisations with knowledge that can be directly applied in their professional environment.

BENEFITS

FOR YOU

FOR YOUR ORGANISATION

  • Attending the EERIA Summer School in the beautiful city of Ohrid was an inspiring and intellectually enriching experience. The programme brought together a remarkable mix of eminent current and former regulators and supervisors, as well as distinguished professors of economics, creating a truly dynamic learning environment.

The depth of knowledge and practical insights shared by the speakers created a unique bridge between academic theory and real-world policy challenges. Beyond the academic programme, the opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions with such a diverse and highly accomplished group of participants was invaluable.

Ohrid’s stunning setting added a special dimension, making every moment—both inside and outside the classroom—memorable. I highly recommend the EERIA Summer School to anyone seeking a meaningful and impactful educational experience in the fields of economics, risk, insurance, and regulation.

I found the programme highly valuable, both from a professional and personal perspective, and I particularly appreciated the high quality of the lectures, the practical discussions, and the opportunity to exchange experiences with participants from different institutions and countries.

The Summer School provided valuable knowledge and perspectives that are directly relevant to professional responsibilities in the fields of financial regulation, licensing, and supervision. It also created an excellent environment for exchanging regional experiences and building professional connections.

Thank you once again for this rewarding experience. I hope to have the opportunity to participate in future EERIA programmes.
